Consulting Services for Business Buyers and Sellers

When you speak to potential acquirers of your business, they will want you to send them material that they can examine to better understand your business. It is important to present well prepared materials that present your business in the best possible way to maximize the price that you receive for your company.

We can help you prepare marketing materials for the sale of your company, and leave you free to run your business.

Typically, at least two different documents are prepared:

  1. A one page general overview that can be shared before a Non-disclosure agreement has been signed.

  2. A more detailed prospectus, which can range in size from 5 pages for a smaller business to 40 pages for a mid-sized business (plus financial statements)


We can assist you either by writing both documents, writing the first draft of each, or simply editing documents that you produce.


You should also review your existing website, brochures, and other marketing materials to ensure that they are up to date and look good. Your website is one of the first things that any potential buyer will look at â and that first impression can be critical to the success of the deal.
